As AMERICAN SOLITAIRE meets audiences in theaters, we want to invite veterans AS OUR GUESTS to connect with a story that reflects their lived experience.
EVERY DOLLAR raised for our VETERAN TICKET FUND will go directly toward:
Offering free tickets to veterans and veteran families
Partnering with veteran‑serving organizations like Vet Tix to reach those most impacted
Hosting post‑screening conversations that center healing, empathy, and connection
This campaign is about access, dignity, and gratitude, and about giving something tangible back to those who gave so much.
WHY THIS FILM MATTERS
Set against the backdrop of post‑9/11 America, AMERICAN SOLITAIRE bridges art and activism, using storytelling to open honest conversations around trauma, responsibility, and empathy.
The film follows a wounded veteran on a journey toward what the filmmakers call the “restoration of tenderness” a reclamation of humanity after violence. Rather than offering easy answers, the film invites audiences to sit with moral complexity and to consider what service, return, and care truly require.
At a time when veteran mental health and social isolation remain urgent issues, community‑centered screenings can serve as rare spaces for reflection, recognition, and connection.
