March 27, 2026 — Doug Olerud owns the Sport Shop in Haines. He served a three-year term as mayor. And he now has a podcast called Doug Has Questions. I was guest number 18. We sat in an aisle of his shop surrounded by fishing gear and in front of his display of hunting rifles and a glass case of handguns for sale. His father sold firearms before him and he grew up hunting.
